I feel immensely lucky to be part of a district with such well-planned and effective professional development. The professional development at Flowing Wells sets a strong foundation from which every teacher can thrive and uphold the amazing culture in the Flowing Wells School District. By making every professional development opportunity a collaborative experience, the FW PD team has also allowed me to create a teaching community across the entire district that will support me in a long and successful teaching career.

The professional development provided by Flowing Wells has been so helpful in supporting my growth as a choir teacher. The typical perception among many music teachers is that public school PD had little relevance for our subject area, but the PD in Flowing Wells is designed to reach every teacher where they are and grow their potential through universally effective pedagogical principles.

One unique thing about professional development and support in Flowing Wells is that it never stops, even after your first year. As an instructional coach, I am privileged to work with 2nd and 3rd-year teachers to help them refine their craft while observing their classrooms. But that's not all—I learn new things too from observing them! I am grateful that Flowing Wells supports teacher growth well past the "new" stages of teaching.
