Exceptional Student Services manages the services for Special Education and other areas related to student special needs. We embrace the mission and core values of the Flowing Wells School District and will strive to provide a quality service to students with special needs and their families. As quality service providers, we adopt these additional core values.

Advocacy: We will identify and address the strengths and needs of students to enable them to utilize their skills within the school community.

Individuality: We will promote acceptance and appreciation of each student’s abilities within the school community.

Security: We will foster a positive learning environment that addresses the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of students within the school community.
Special education means specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of a student with a disability. Services are available to meet the needs of all students with disabilities in district who are eligible and need special education and related services in order to benefit from their educational program.
