What Our Substitutes Have to Say

"As a substitute for Flowing Wells, I really enjoy getting to see all the schools in the district and take on so many roles. Everyone I work with is so supportive and willing to help and answer any questions that may come up during the day. I am always provided with thorough lessons plans that make the day run smoother."

"I enjoy substitute teaching in the Flowing Wells Unified School District. As a retiree, I enjoy the flexible schedule and variety of different positions offered across the district. My experience has been very positive across all grade levels and school sites, with friendly and supportive staff and administrators and students who are taught how to interact respectfully with a guest teacher."

"Having been a teacher in Flowing Wells and now a substitute teacher, there is a sense of family that is still apparent when I go into the schools.  If I have any questions, especially related to the newer technology, there is always a staff member willing to help me out.    What I appreciate most about the schools is that the front office always makes it a point to thank me for subbing.   Just something that simple goes a very long way.  Again, it's the little things like that which make me want to continue working in Flowing Wells."
