Tucson Festival of Books The Tucson Festival of Books on March 13th-14th is “a free, family-friendly event at the University of Arizona campus celebrating books and reading and featuring best-selling authors, writing workshops, and children's events”. (Kristen Scott, AZ Daily Star). Check out their Web site for more details. Congratulations! Congratulations to Mr. Bob Gaston on receiving the Arizona Music Educators Association O.M. Hastsell Excellence in Teaching Music Award. The award recognizes educators who have demonstrated exemplary teaching abilities in music. He will be recognized at the annual conference in Mesa next month! We are grateful that you are part of our Flowing Wells family! Congratulations to Mr. Jack Murphy! Mr. Murphy is a Rodel semi-finalist. This is a recognition based on high achievement with students in the classroom. The Rodel program looks for exemplary teachers in Title I schools. This is quite an honor for our school and Mr. Murphy and we are very proud that he is a semi-finalist. Please join us in giving him a big Hip, Hip, Hooray!
