Are you a high school graduate?

Are you a high school graduate interested in teaching Early Childhood (grades PreK to 3rd), Elementary Education (K to 8th), or Special Education (K-12th Mild-Moderate Disabilities)?

1. First step is to apply to the University of Arizona via the Undergraduate Admissions application.

2. Once admitted, you will meet with your assigned UA College of Education advisor. Please notify your advisor of your interest in becoming a Fellow so he/she may answer any questions.

3. Then, you will need to apply to the teacher preparation program of your choice in the spring of your sophomore year, by the 2nd Friday in February, for fall admission. For more information about the process and required documents, please see here

4. Finally, you will need to apply by March 1 to the Teaching Fellows program, selecting your first and second district of your choice. Application will open no later than January 1 and can be accessed here

5. Once you are ADMITTED to a teacher preparation program AND YOU APPLY to the Teaching Fellows Program, the districts will review your application. They will then interview selected applicants, based on their content area and grade level needs. Following the interviews, the districts will select the Fellows for their districts in early spring.
