Are you a college graduate looking to teach Secondary Education (grades 6-12)?

1. Review Teach Arizona program information here.

2. Please contact Teach Arizona via email here and indicate the content area you hope to teach Please attach scans of your unofficial transcripts for review so that the Graduate Coordinator may evaluate the hours you have earned in your content area and/or make suggestions for additional coursework to support eligibility.

3. Apply to the University of Arizona through the UA Graduate College, and select the Master of Arts in Secondary Education, Teach Arizona Program. Preference given to students applying by January 31 and applications will continue to be accepted until filled. Cohorts begin in May of each year.

4. Apply by March 1 to the Teaching Fellows program, selecting your first and second district of your choice. Application will open no later than January 1 and can be accessed here.

5. Once you are ADMITTED to a teacher preparation program AND YOU APPLY to the Teaching Fellows Program, the districts will review your application. They will then interview selected applicants, based on their content area and grade level needs. Following the interviews, the districts will select the Fellows for their districts in early spring.
