Be A Substitute for FW

In order to substitute teach in Flowing Wells School District, we require the following:

Certified to substitute teach in Arizona (either a regular Teaching Certificate or a Substitute Certificate).

Certificate must be recorded with the Office of the Pima County School Superintendent located at 200 N. Stone Ave.

A substitute certificate can be obtained if you have a college degree in any area and approved by the Arizona Department of Education Certification Office located at 400 W. Congress Street.

Complete the Substitute Teacher Application and upload the following documents:

Arizona Teaching Certificate or Substitute Certificate
Current Fingerprint (IVP) Clearance Card
Immunization Records
Three Reference Letters
Identification: Driver's License AND Social Security Card

Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed and an interview will be scheduled. Upon approval, you will be notified by phone and scheduled for an orientation. Flowing Wells School District provides orientations throughout the school year.
